Outage Planning
Outage Planning section is primarily to create and monitor outage requests to the transmission line.

Page to track the LER created/assigned to the logged in user. Clicking on the LER number will open the hyperlink
CAISO & SORT Communication Status
Requests made to CAISO and SORT are queued. This is a dashbaord to track the status of requests sent to CAISO/SORT.
Change Request
Page to track any change requests made to an LER
Draft
Page to track any LERs left is draft status. User can save their LERs midway through creation and resume using the 'Edit' Icon. Drafts can be deleted using the 'Delete' Icon.
Create LER
Clikcing on this button will start the LER creation process. LER creation is a step by step process and users can proceed to next step only after completing the current step.
Facility Info
Step 1 of LER creation is to enter the Facility Information. User can select the Facility from the drop down values and also the Authorization type of the LER.
Outage Dates
Step 2 of LER creation is to select the outage Dates. User can select individual days or make the LER a continous outage by selecting the being and end dates. Clicking on SAVE button will save the date/time for the LER.
Date and time selected can be repeated by selecting the check box in the right corner of a date. Once selected, user can repliacate it for a whole week by selecting the check box at the beginig of the table. User can select on the date to edit the date details or click on the DELETE icon to remove a date from the outage.
Job description
Step 3 of LER creation is to provide the full details of the LER like Job Description, Isoliation Points, upload documents etc.
Crew Information
Step 4 of LER creation is to provide the details of the crew who will be working on the outage. Requestors can also assigne their managers name in this page to review the LER before submitting to a Scheduler.
Auth Statement
Step 5 of LER creation is available only for a outage Schduler. This page is available to provide some additional notes about the outage.
If Outage Facility has some predefined entities/parites to be notified in case of an outage, those emails can be initiated and/or monitored in this page.
ISO details
Step 6 of LER creation is also available only for a outage Schduler. This page contains details to communicate with CAISO regarding the outage. If EMS details are populated for an outage, a file is generated by a batch job that is run every 30mins. This file is used for additional study regarding the outage by the schdulers.
Review and Submit
Last step of the LER creation is to review all the info provided and SUBMIT the LER. Details displayed on this page depends on the users access level (requestor vs schduler).
Outages
Page to search for an LER using a wide list of filters.
OMS Request Page
Page to communicate with CAISO system.
OMS Request
List page shows the list of scheduled LER for the date selected and their corresponding OMS details. User can send/cancel or resubmit an LER. Clicking on the details page would show side by side comparison of the LER data in MCC system and CAISO System. Reconcile status indicate of any differences.
Edit OMS Request
Clicking on the OMS Request page will show the details of the LER from CAISO system. User can modify the data and Send update to CAISO.
Reports
Reports section contains all the different reports for the Outage Planning.
TNA Report
TNA Report displays the list of all the LERs that are Scheduled for the Date selected.
OMS Audit Report
OMS Aduti Report displays the list of all interactions with CAISO. Report can be Filteted by LER, OMS ID, From and TO date.
Daily Report
Daily Report page is used to monitor the outages scheduled for the date select.
####Overview List of all the LERs scheduled for the current date and the OMS status will be displayed. Operators can update the IN and OUT times and communicate with CAISO using this page.
####ETS List of all the Switching request for the date selected are displayed.
####Radialized Subs List of all the substations radialized for the date selected are displayed.
####System Changes List of all the System Changes for the date selected are displayed.
Cancelled Report
Report to display the list of all Cancelled LERs. Report can be Filteted by Date Range, Requestor, Supervisor, Cancelled by.
OC Pending Actions Report
Report of all pending actions for a Coordinator are displayed. Report can be filtered by LER, From and To Dates.
Rejected Report
Report of Rejected LERs.
Overview
Generates a report of LERs rejected based on the search criteria LER No, Requestor, Supervisor, Rejector.
Reject Summary
Generates a summary report of LERs rejected during a time period.
System Change Status Report
Report of all the system changes done during a selected time period.
Settings
Settings section is available only for Outage Schedulers. This section can be used to manage the settings of the facilities.
Facilities
Facilities tab is used to add/maintain a facility
List Facilities
List of all the available facilities will be displayed on the screen. User can filter the result by searching by the equipment name, voltage, substation, Facility Type and status.
Add Facility
Clicking on '+New' button will open a modal to capture details to add a new Facility.
Edit Facility
Clicking on edit icon on the list page will open a modal to modify the details of an Facility.
Delete Facility Facility can be deleted by navigating to the Edit Facility modal. User can delete an facility by clicking on the 'Delete' button. A delete cofirmation screen would be displayed before the equipment is deleted. Facilities that have LER associated with them cannot be deleted.
Download
Clicking on the download button will downlaod the list of Facilities types in an excel format.
Equipment Type
Equipment Type information is displayed in this section.
List Equipment Types
List of all the available Equipment Types will be displayed on the screen. User can filter the result by searching by the equipment name.
Add Equipment Types
Clicking on '+New' button will open a modal to capture details to add a new Equipment Type.
Edit Equipment Types
Clicking on edit icon on the list page will open a modal to modify the details of an Equipment.
Delete Equipment Types Equipment can be deleted by navigating to the Edit equipment modal. User can delete an equipment by clicking on the 'Delete' button. A delete cofirmation screen would be displayed before the equipment is deleted. Equipments that are in use in the MCC application cannot be deleted.
Download
Clicking on the download button will downlaod the list of equipment types in an excel format.
Substations
Substation details are displayed on this page
List Substations
List of all the substations will be displayed on the screen. User can filter the result by searching by the substation name, District Code.
Add Substation
Clicking on '+New' button will open a modal to capture details to add a new Substation.
Edit Substation
Clicking on edit icon on the list page will open a modal to modify the details of an Substation.
Delete Substation Substation can be deleted by navigating to the Edit Substation modal. User can delete an substation by clicking on the 'Delete' button. A delete cofirmation screen would be displayed before the equipment is deleted. Substation that are in use in the MCC application cannot be deleted.
Download
Clicking on the download button will downlaod the list of substations in an excel format.
Substation Customer Count
Substations and the impacted customer count/Load data is maintained in this section
List Substation Customer Count
List of substations, their customer count and load for 10 years will be displayed on the screen. User can filter the result by searching by the substation.
Upload Customer Count/Load
Clicking on '+Upload' button will open a modal to allow uploading a file with the customer count/load data.
Edit Customer Count/Load
Clicking on edit icon next to the year will allow updating of the count/load info for the whole year.
Clickin on edit icon when hovering over individual year/substation combination will allow update for that particular combination only.
Download
Clicking on the download button will downlaod the list of Cusomter count/Load data in an excel format.
Groups
Groups section is used to maintain the email distribution list for LER communication.
List Groups
List of all the groups will be displayed. User can filter the result by searching by the group name.
Add Group
Clicking on '+Add' button will open a modal to capture the details of a new group. Group Email or a Group Member is required to create a group.
Edit Group
Clicking on edit icon next to the group will allow updating of the group information.
Delete Group Group can be deleted by navigating to the Edit Group modal. User can delete an group by clicking on the 'Delete' button. A delete cofirmation screen would be displayed before the equipment is deleted. Groups that are in use in the MCC application cannot be deleted.
Short Desc Maint
This section is used to Add/Maint the Short description.
List Short Desc
List of all the Short Desc categories and their Desc will be displayed.
Add New Description
Clicking on 'Add New Description' button will open a modal to capture the details of a new Short Description. Category Name and Desc are required.
Edit Short Desc
Clicking on edit icon on the list page will allow updating of the Category/Description information.
Delete Short Desc Short Desc can be deleted by navigating to the Edit Short desc modal. User can delete by clicking on the 'Delete' button. A delete cofirmation screen would be displayed before the equipment is deleted. Short Desc that are in use in the MCC application cannot be deleted.
General Settings
This section is used to Maintain settings/Rules for LER creation.
List Settings
List of all the settings for OutagePlanning Desc will be displayed.
Edit a Setting
Clicking on 'EDIT' button will open a modal to modify the settings.
